My favorite of caprese salad recipes starts with ripe juicy tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil. This simple salad rocks! I make this fabulous salad year round but it just tastes better in the summer months. Make Caprese Salad with garden fresh tomatoes and fresh basil --fresh makes everything tastes better. Ingredients

2cupssliced tomatoes or Roma tomatoes
3ouncesfresh mozzarella cheesethinly sliced
3tablespoonscoarsely chopped fresh basil
salt and pepper to taste
1tablespoonolive oil
1tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
